Located just footsteps from the sandy shore of Lake Erie and the Huron Lighthouse in the cozy, coastal town of Huron, Ohio, the Upside Down Art Studio is an intimate space to unwind and stretch your creative soul.  Studio experiences are crafted to guide you on your own journey with the creative process and provide opportunities to connect with the elements of art and nature.  Get your hands on clay, paint, watercolors and more... and get your feet in the sand!

Studio Experiences

Creative opportunities are offered year-round for these ages & groups:​

Youth/Teen Studios: Ages 7-15

The youth studio sessions are designed for young artists to explore a variety of art media and processes, including painting, watercolor, drawing, clay and crafts.  Young artists learn about the art styles of different cultures and artists, experience the personal satisfaction and wellness that occurs with the creative process, and make new art friends!  Studios are designed around a central theme that rotates seasonally so there is always something new to learn!

Child & Adult Partner Sessions: Ages 3+

​Need some special one-on-one time with your favorite little artist?  These sessions are a great opportunity to bond and create a lasting memory to display and cherish forever.  Geared towards pre-school/elementary ages and their special adult, these sessions are instructor led every step of the way.  Sessions change seasonally and may include painting, clay or crafts.

Adult Studios: Ages 16+

The adult studios are open to those 16 and older and are crafted for those who are looking for a place to take a pause and make something with their hands.  Art experiences are designed for all skill levels with an emphasis on personal wellness, the creative process, exploring art, nature and our world.  Studio sessions are designed around a central theme that rotates seasonally with a focus on home decor and functional art, including painting, watercolor, clay and crafts.

Private Group Sessions:

Private groups sessions are perfect for homeschool groups, scouts, special needs groups, birthdays, team building or whatever the occasion you and your clan want to gather for!  Contact me to discuss your needs!

Youth/Teen Private Group Sessions-$30 PER GUEST

  • 1.5 hours of studio time

  • Min 6, Max 9 guests

  • Choice of: canvas painting, watercolor painting, rock painting, crafts, or pottery (additional $20 glaze fee per person for pottery).

  • Can bring party snack and clear drinks.

Adult Private Group Sessions-$40 per guest 

  • 2 hours of studio time

  • Min 5, max 8 guests

  • Choice of: canvas painting, watercolor painting, collage, mosaic, rock painting, or pottery (additional $20 glaze fee per person for pottery).

  • Can bring party snack and clear drinks. ​​
